These pages are written for a solo-operated AI SaaS by the maker, not by a law firm. They are reasonable defaults and should be reviewed by an attorney before any high-revenue inflection (acquisition, funding, enterprise contracts, payment-card storage). Last refreshed February 21, 2026.

1. The headline

Soliloquy is built on third-party large language models and synthetic-voice engines. Every reply you hear or see is a statistical guess, not a verified fact, not a professional opinion, and not advice. The Service may produce content that is wrong, biased, offensive, hallucinated, or out of date. You are responsible for verifying anything you rely on.

This page sets out the limits of what Soliloquy is, what it isn’t, and where your responsibility starts.

2. What Soliloquy is

  • A real-time voice and text roleplay simulator.
  • A creative tool for voice actors, dungeon masters, and trainers to practice verbal interactions with emotionally-responsive AI characters.
  • A character workshop with persona authoring, memory, voice tuning, and shareable personas.

3. What Soliloquy is not

  • A licensed therapist, doctor, lawyer, accountant, financial advisor, or any other regulated professional. Persona system prompts may roleplay these professions for entertainment only.
  • A source of truth for medical, legal, financial, tax, mental-health, safety, security, or any other consequential decisions.
  • An emergency service. If you are in crisis, call your local emergency number or a licensed hotline (e.g., 988 in the US for suicide and crisis support).
  • A real person. Personas are software; relationships with them have no legal effect.

4. AI output is unreliable by design

Large language models predict the next plausible token. They do not know what is true. They will confidently invent facts, citations, statistics, quotes, and events. Synthetic voices will read those inventions in a friendly, persuasive tone. Treat all output as creative draft material until independently verified.

5. Your responsibility for how the output is used

By using the Service you accept that you alone decide what to do with the output. You are solely responsible for:

  • Verifying any factual claim before relying on it in the real world.
  • Complying with the laws of your jurisdiction when you publish, broadcast, share, or commercially use the output (including copyright, defamation, advertising, broadcast, voice-likeness, and consumer-protection rules).
  • Disclosing to your own audience when content was AI-assisted, where the law (or your employer’s rules) requires it.
  • Not presenting AI output as professional advice (medical, legal, financial, mental-health) to others.
  • Not using the Service to harass, defraud, deceive, harm, or impersonate any real person without their explicit consent.

6. No advice, no professional relationship

Nothing the Service produces — whether spoken, written, generated, or implied — creates a doctor-patient, attorney-client, fiduciary, broker-client, therapist-client, or any other professional relationship. The maker of Soliloquy is not your lawyer, doctor, therapist, accountant, or financial advisor.

7. Voice likeness & impersonation

Soliloquy uses synthetic voices provided by upstream vendors. You may not configure a persona to mimic the voice of a specific real, identifiable person without that person’s explicit, demonstrable consent. You may not use the Service to create deepfake audio of any real person. Violations may be reported by us to the appropriate platforms and authorities and will result in account termination.

8. Adult content (NSFW Mode)

  • Adult Mode is opt-in and requires you to affirmatively confirm you are 18 or older.
  • All depicted or described persons must be 18 or older. Zero tolerance for sexual content involving anyone presented as a minor.
  • Adult output is intended for solo creative use. You are responsible for ensuring it is legal where you are and how you use it.
  • Even with Adult Mode on, the upstream model providers may decline to generate certain content. We do not override their safety filters.

9. Mental-health, safety, and crisis

Soliloquy is not a substitute for a licensed mental-health professional. If you are experiencing a mental-health emergency, suicidal thoughts, abuse, or a safety crisis, please contact a licensed local resource:

  • United States: dial or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline).
  • United Kingdom: Samaritans 116 123.
  • European Union: 112 for general emergencies; local crisis lines vary by country.
  • Other countries: visit findahelpline.com.

10. Release of liability

By using Soliloquy you release the maker, sub-processors, and any contributors from liability for any harm arising from:

  • Reliance on AI-generated output.
  • Emotional reactions to AI-generated content (offensive, distressing, or unexpected).
  • Decisions you make based on a persona’s response.
  • Third-party actions taken in response to content you publish or share that originated on Soliloquy.
  • Outages, data loss, latency, or degraded voice quality.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, this release operates in addition to the limitation-of-liability and indemnification clauses in our Terms of Service.

11. Reporting abuse

If you encounter content that violates these rules (CSAM, harassment, deepfake impersonation, doxxing), email support@trysoliloquy.com with the persona ID, screenshot or transcript, and date. We will investigate and respond within 72 hours.
